Dr. Arseneau started his training with a 4-year honours degree in Biochemistry followed by a 4 years of formal Naturopathic Medical Education at CCNM, which now offers the only accredited Naturopathic Degree Granting Program in Canada. He continued his post-doctoral training at the Institute for Functional Medicine, is certified in infusion therapy and has recently been granted prescribing authority by the College.
Dr. Arseneau has conducted over 100 lectures for physicians and patients alike and has appeared as a guest speaker on national and local television broadcasts including CTS and Roger’s Cable. He currently lectures internationally on Functional medicine at CME accredited events to educate physicians, pharmacists and other health care practitioners on emerging research in systems biology including immune dysfunction, autoimmunity, inflammation, chronic fatigue, pain, neurodegeneration, detoxification and mood regulation. He has also participated in the esteemed Master Class Program, which brings together international speakers to lecture to Australian and New Zealand doctors on a variety of health topics. He has lectured academically for faculty and students of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, as part of a laboratory testing series. This high-quality, evidence-informed series focused on Cardiovascular Risk Assessment in clinical practice. Other groups he has lectured for include Pascoe Canada, Fluids IQ Wellness Labs, AOR Canada, Metagenics Canada, Biomed Canada, the Society for Orthomolecular Medicine, and Trubalance Healthcare, to name a few.

Dr. Arseneau has been quoted in the National Post, referenced by Dr. Hauser in Sacroiliac joint dysfunction treatment | PRP and Prolotherapy, and featured in the Pulse, the professional newsletter of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Most recently he co-wrote a study in Internal Medicine Review, Volume 3 Issue 2. He has also recently been published in the Natural Medicine Journal, Vol. 8, Issue 3 as well as several articles in Practical Pain Management. He has presented a poster at the 4th International Neuropathic Pain Conference focused on using the Functional Medical model to treat various types of complex pain syndromes.
Dr. Arseneau is a contributor of the 12th edition of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine textbook where he co-authored a chapter on integrative management of Fibromyalgia. He has co-authored several other research papers on the benefits of Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy, essential fatty acids, thyroid treatment and integrative pain management. Dr. Arseneau received an Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) Leadership award in 2011 and 2013. He is also the Director of the Centre for Advanced Medicine, the Chief Naturopathic Doctor for the Canadian Center for Integrative Medicine in Markham and a Medical Advisor for the Centre for Restorative Medicine.
He is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and is on the editorial board for the “Journal of Restorative Medicine” and a past peer reviewer for the “Integrated Healthcare Practitioners Journal”. Dr. Arseneau is also a Clinical Advisor for Fluids IQ Immunology and Wellness Laboratory. Dr. Arseneau has worked as a Policy Advisor for the Government of Ontario and as a Medical Advisor Council for AOR Canada.

In his spare time, Dr. Arseneau is a devoted family man with three wonderful sons. He enjoys coaching and playing a variety of sports with his boys, especially hockey. For fun, Dr. Arseneau can be seen cruising around on his motorcycle or challenging friends to a competitive game of soccer.
